Founded by Guillaume Cochet and Mathieu Eymin, 2 Vélo Cargo enthusiasts, Velab is the specialist in cargo bikes for professionals.

Their objective is simple: to decarbonize and reduce the nuisances associated with business mobility in cities. So when they asked us to redesign their graphic identity, we immediately agreed, especially when you consider that half the studio commutes by bike.

Velab bikes are the heavyweights of the bicycle world. So we wanted a bold, impactful identity, inspired by the codes of road signs. Evoking the iconic cargo bike body and the V of Velab, the new logo is used on a variety of media, from bikes to team equipment. The graphic identity is designed as a Velab-style highway code, with its own pictograms, signs and markings. For this project, the studio was in charge of the graphic identity, the website design, and the social network guidelines.
